Ashanti II Deep Gold Project
Our current project covers a 50 km length of the Asankrangwa Gold Belt in southwest Ghana - equivalent to the strike length of the Carlin Gold Belt in Nevada
The properties are well positioned between the producing Ashanti and Sefwi (Bibiani) Gold Belts
Within a 120 km radius of the project, other companies have developed some 65 million ounces of gold reserves, with over 50 million ounces of gold produced to date
The project area lies at the intersection of major, deep seated structures
There are areas with significant current and historical artisanal mining

Why Ghana?
Ghana is mining friendly and has a history of gold production stretching back several thousand years
The gold exploration boom in the 1990's targeted surface oxide gold deposits. There has been no systematic exploration for new "deep gold" targets on the target Asankrangwa properties. The nearby Ashanti Obuasi orebody has been in continuous production for over 100 years and ore grade mineralization has been proven to extend to over 2 km in depth
Ghana has a stable and democratic government
Taxes are reasonable (35%) and there are fair mining and environmental policies
There is moderate government participation (10%)
Ghana has a good judiciary and legal system
The Project area is served by a network of roads, rail and power lines
There is a good supply of low cost, skilled and willing labour

Project Considerations
widespread anomalous Au and As values in silt, soil, trench and drill samples
strong regional correlation between sulfide mineralization and gold within the defined shear zone structures
extensive linear IP anomalies, related to laminated, brecciated and sericitic quartz reefs, gold and sulfide mineralization
presence of extensive graphitic shear zones and dilational structures
large untested IP anomaly associated with granitic intrusions
