Goknet Expands Ashanti II Gold Project Land Base

Goknet Mining Company Ltd. has assembled a major land position in one of the Worlds' foremost, underexplored, gold belts - the Asankrangwa Gold Belt in southwest Ghana. It has interests in six concessions covering over 230 sq km, and additional new applications pending.

Previous work completed on these concessions and applications - costing over US$9 million - confirms the presence of wide spread occurrences of "Ashanti" type - gold in quartz reef mineralization. The Project area is located midway between the highly productive Ashanti Gold Belt on the southeast and the Sefwi/Bibiani Gold Belt to the northwest.
